The following tie-break procedure will be used to determine ranks if the total marks earned by two or more candidates are equal:
Step 1: Candidates will be ranked higher if they receive higher positive marks. Step 2’s subsequent criterion will be used if Step 1’s tie-breaking criteria is unsuccessful in severing the tie.
Step 2: The applicant who received higher scores in mathematics will be given a higher rank. In the event of a tie, the candidate with the better Physics score will be given the higher rank. Candidates will be given the same rank if there is still a tie after this.
