The State level Engineering Lateral Entry Entrance Exam (JELET) is administered by the WBJEEB, who also announce the results. A State level entrance test for Engineering Lateral Entry is called the Joint Entrance Lateral Entry Test (JELET). JELET Result 2022 are released as Rank Cards. It includes all pertinent rankings and scores. By checking in using their application number and DOB, candidates can view and download their rank cards. To protect the privacy of each individual candidate, the Board never makes a rank list public. All applicants who take the exam receive rank cards with their results. However, not everyone will be given a rank, and as a result, not everyone will be qualified for counselling, for which the board will choose a cutoff rank and/or score.

JELET Result 2022 Merit List
Using their login information and a password, the candidates can access their findings. Candidates who appear on the merit list will be qualified to participate in counselling. General Merit Rank (GMR) rank cards are released separately for each of the five subjects, as follows:

How to Download JELET Result 2022?
Step 1: Candidates must first go to the official website, @wbjeeb.nic.in.

Step 4: Locate and access the WBJEE Result Link.
Step 5: Enter your date of birth and registration number (DOB).

Within 24 hours of the results being announced, candidates may submit questions via email (to info@wbjeeb.in) with copies of their rank cards, copies of the question booklets with their series codes, and self-calculated question-by-question and overall scores if they have any complaints about the score they received. JELET Result 2022 Important Points
The following list contains some key points regarding the merit list. Please carefully read them.
- General Merit Rank is another name for the rank card (GMR).
- According to the marks each student received in the exam, the ranks are assigned to them. According to the ranks they have attained, the names on the merit list are listed in descending order.
- For each of the designated reserved groups, such as the SC rank, ST rank, OBC rank, and PwD rank, the merit position will be determined.
- However, it is made very clear that the GMR and not the ranks assigned based on category would be used expressly in the shortlisting of candidates via the counselling process and admission afterwards.

The date of birth (DOB) of the candidates will be used to break ties if any remain beyond that point; the older candidate will be given preference over the younger one.
JELET Result 2022 – GMR and PMR
Using the candidates’ results from the Common Entrance Test, WBJEEB will create merit ranks. The Rank Card, which will include a score and rank, will be available for each candidate to view and download. To protect the privacy of each individual candidate, the WBJEEB does not publicly release any rank or score lists.
The rank will be known by the initials GMR (General Merit Rank) or PMR (Pharmacy Merit Rank)
Based on the results of the candidates’ qualifying exams, two (2) distinct rank lists will be created, for example.
- Diploma in Engineering/ Technology OR B.Sc. (GMR).
- Diploma in Pharmacy. (PMR).
Based on the grades received, the GMR/PMR order will be prepared.
Ranking is done in descending order of total points earned. Tiebreakers are used when there are ties.
JELET Counseling 2022
The JELET 2022 counselling process must be completed online by qualified candidates. The candidates must register on the official website and fill out their chosen college and course options prior to the counselling procedure. The candidate’s rank, preference, and the seats’ availability will all be taken into consideration while allocating seats. All of the chosen applicants must show up at the college to which they have been assigned in order to confirm their admission by having their documentation verified and paying the counselling cost.
Only at the time of admission are the candidates asked to supply accurate information. If any false or misleading information is discovered, it may not only result in cancellation of admission but may also result in legal consequences. As a result, caste certificates are not required to be submitted by candidates. Even after the counselling procedure, admission will be immediately cancelled if it is discovered at the time of application that the candidate applied from the reserved category even if he falls under the general category.
