JoSAA 2023 Important Things To Remember
Applicants who don’t sign up within the given time frame WILL NOT be able to apply for this school year. Those who don’t fill out their choices within the time limit WON’T be able to apply for this academic year.
If the seat assignment changes from NIT+ to IITs or IITs to NIT+, you have to report it twice. No changes to locked choices—once choices are locked, they CANNOT be changed.
Choice filling is the most important decision for colleges based on a student’s rank. The JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) website was used to start the choice filling process. If a student makes a few small mistakes, they could lose the most valuable seat. So, students have to do things in a certain way.
JoSAA Course Fees 2023
After you’ve finished registering, you’ll need to choose colleges and lock your choices. Then the candidates move on to choosing their seats. If the candidate is happy with the seat they are given, they can get the provisional allotment memo for JoSAA Counselling 2023 from the official site or by phone. Applicants also have to pay a fee to accept a seat. Download the e-challan and pay Rs. 35,000 or Rs. 15,000 (for some categories) to pay the JoSAA fees. You can also pay the JoSAA course fees with SBI Net Banking.
JoSAA Seat Allotment 2023 Post Process
Candidates are given seats based on their JEE Main/JEE Advanced scores, their preferences, their category, and how many seats are available. The candidates who were chosen must download their letter of provisional allotment and pay the seat admittance fee of Rs. 35,000. After paying the fee, the candidates will have to go to the Reporting Centre to check their papers (RC).
After the JoSAA seat allocation results for 2023 are released, the candidates who were given a seat will be able to choose any of the following options based on their preferences:
Floating: Candidates must choose this option if they want to take the seat they were given but are also open to being moved up or admitted to a higher-ranked institute or course.
Freezing: Applicants must choose this option if they are happy with the seat they were given and do not want to go through any more rounds of counselling.
Sliding: Candidates who choose this choice will confirm their allotment, but they will also be able to enrol in a higher-preferred course at the same institute.
After the document check is done, the candidates will have to show up at the institutes they were given to confirm their admission. The candidates also have to pay the required fee.
