  1. Respected Sir,/ Madam,
I think students, parents and teachers were punished enough these last two years with online and now offline.
Why don’t you make it a must for Schools to lessen the syllabus and give quality time in teaching than having to rush through the completing of Syllabus.
I must say that the joy of going teaching is lost.
Before we loose our heads or health. We all need that 30 days of complete rest.
    Thanks,.

  2. Private schools have been conducting regular classes throughout the year, in either online or offline mode. These schools have completed their syllabus on schedule and have also taken class exams on schedule. The students of these private schools deserve the regular summer vacations which start from May.
Why should students of private schools be deprived of the regular summer vacations ?

  3. Summer in odisha is too much.
Heat rises from 7:00 am morning till 7:00 pm evening, how the kids can go to school in this hot climate and power cut from time to time in many places of odisha. All the private schools had conducted online classes during the covid pandeimic so why to rush on for completion of course . Let the kids enjoy the vaccation for a month and then continue their studies in a cool engergetic minds.

  6. [ ] Summer heat in may & june is big issue…. It cnt be ignored.
[ ] Mobile radiation to children- when they /(children) want to watch entertainment program on mobile phone we hardly allow them to watch more than 30 min…. When it comes to studies through online classes, what about the harmful radiations? Even class 1 children have to face mobile radiation at least 4 hours online classes
[ ] Eye sight- same as above… Children have to Continuously concentrate on small mobile screen… It is worst than watching television
[ ] No proper studies in online classes— teachers and students both know how offline classes are better for study…
[ ] Can u fullfill the loss in studies of children within summer vacations which u could not teach in last 2 years?

[ ] What about Childrens’ mental health… During 2 years of Pendamic did they (children)enjoy??could they play? did they enjoy out side,? went to family trips? Even they couldn’t go outside their doorstep… Vacation is important for family n childrens’ mental health.

  7. While online classes were going on in kvs ,at the same time state govt schools in odisha too conducted online classes. While KV has already declared summer vacation keeping the heat waves in view , the state govt schools should do this too.. Govt officials of Odisha should think as many times as they can on this issue.

All experienced teachers and educated parents will agree that dragging the students to school at 6.00 am in the morning is really inhuman . For attending the classes at 6.00 am a child needs to start from his house at least at 5.30 am . Is the mentality and physically ready to receive lessons under this condition ?
Secondly , the government is saying that the vacation is curtailed to fulfill the learning gap . I would like to ask the government , where is the learning gap when the schools were continuously taking online classes through the year ?During the online classes the teachers attended to the queries of the students even after school hours . Did the teachers and students enjoy vacation at that time ?
Thirdly , I would like to ask the honourable minister to think reasonably at the condition of the students . Going to school is not the only solution for gaining knowledge . The students need self study to recapitulate their learning , for which they need a vacation . A vacation is very important for all human beings as it refreshes , energises and strengthens one’s memory power . We are not Robots . They need to tour and socialise as these are also a part of education . All work and no play makes Jack A Dull Boy .
Please think reasonably , Mr . MINISTER

  10. This rule should be only for government and government aided schools not for CBSE affiliated schools as CBSE has got its own curriculum which does not match with the state government so CBSE board should have a list of holidays and the session when to begin nd end
