Group 1 posts official notification was released by Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission on 21st July 2022. Aspirants who were eligible in terms of educational qualification and age limit filled the online application form, which began from the date of notification. According to some reliable sources, a large number of the audience is going to sit in the examination, who will use the online application form till 22nd August 2022. Group 1 Exam Date 2022 Tamil Nadu for prelims is officially announced by TNPSC, as per official notification, exam will take place on 30th October 2022 from 09:30 am to 12:30 pm with time duration of 03 hours.
Select for any Group 1 posts will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in prelims, mains and interview. Candidates who took the preliminary examination and were shortlisted in the merit list of qualified candidates will be eligible to sit in mains. TN Group (குரூப்) 1 Preliminary Exam சிறப்பம்சங்கள் 2022
Tamil Nadu PSC will conduct the preliminary exam for the various Group (குரூப்) 1 posts in offline mode. Candidates must be aware of the fact that only those aspirants will be allowed to write Group 1 Prelims who will have a photo identity card and print copy of hall ticket of Group 1 posts, which will be issued a few days before exam. If you registered against TN Group 1 Notification then you are informed that in prelims, a total number of 200 questions are going to be asked from two different sections.
All 200 questions will be of MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) type, out of the total questions, 175 will be asked from Degree Standard General Study questions, remaining 25 from SSLC (10th) Standard Aptitude & Mental Ability Test. You can check out the above given image in order to know the prelims exam pattern. Note that each question will carry a weightage of 1.5 (3/2) mark, and there will be no negative marking system. Appearing candidates will have the time duration of 03 hours i.e. 180 minutes to touch maximum number of questions.
TNPSC Group 1 Hall Ticket 2022 தரவிறக்க இணைப்பு Date
Candidates be aware of the fact that officials are not going to send any physical copy of hall ticket for prelims. Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission will release the hall ticket for preliminary examination of Group 1 in online mode on its official website at tnspc.gov.in/. TN Group 1 Hall Ticket release date is not yet disclosed officially, if you are thousands of candidates who are going to take part in the prelims then you need to download your call letter from the official website after announcement and make its print copy to carry it to the respective exam centre.
As per the official notification there are a total number of 92 vacancies for various Group 1 posts, out of the total posts, 18 are for Deputy Collector, 26 for Deputy Superintendent of Police, 25 for Assistant Commissioner, 13 for Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies, 07 for Assistant Director of Rural Development and remaining 3 for District Employment Officer in TN General Service.
